Terms of service

Last updated October 29, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Goshen Labs Inc. ("Goshen", "we") for use of the Goshen API, dashboard and website. By creating an account or using an API key you accept them.

The service

Goshen provides an API for running open-weight AI models, generating embeddings, and fine-tuning models on data you provide, hosted in Quebec, Canada. The models available are listed in the docs and may change; we will give notice before removing one.

Model output is generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. You are responsible for checking output before relying on it, especially for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.

Accounts and keys

  • Give accurate sign-up details. We may hold an account as pending until invoicing is arranged.
  • Keep your API keys secret. You are responsible for use of your keys until you revoke them.
  • Tell us at michael@goshen.fyi if you think your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

Do not use Goshen to:

  • break the law, or help someone else break it;
  • generate child sexual abuse material, or content that sexualizes minors;
  • harass, threaten or defraud people, or impersonate them without consent;
  • build malware or attack systems you do not own or have permission to test;
  • try to get around rate limits, access other customers' data, or disrupt the service.

Because we do not store prompts or completions, we do not read what you send. We act on reports, on patterns in usage counts, and on what the law requires. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

Your content

Your inputs, the outputs generated for you, the files you upload and the fine-tuned adapters trained on them are yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service for you: to process requests, store your files encrypted until you delete them, and train and serve your adapters. We do not use your content to train models for anyone else. How we handle data is described on the data residency and privacy page.

You confirm you have the right to upload the data you fine-tune on. The base models are published under the Apache 2.0 licence; your use of them through Goshen is also subject to that licence.

Billing

Usage is metered in tokens and invoiced monthly at the rates agreed with you in writing. There is no card billing. Invoices are due within 30 days. We may suspend an account with an invoice more than 30 days overdue, after notice.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Goshen running, but we do not offer an uptime guarantee or service level agreement. The service runs in a single region and may be interrupted for maintenance or failures. We may change the service and these terms. We will announce a material change to these terms on this page at least 30 days before it takes effect, and say on which date it does. Other changes to these terms take effect when we post them here.

Ending service

You can stop using Goshen and delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may end service with 30 days' notice, or right away for serious breaches of these terms. Either way, you can download your training files before your account is deleted.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. If part of them is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions go to michael@goshen.fyi.
